Based in Sandbach, Cheshire, Lynch Tankers is a family run business. It was established in the 1950’s and owns a specialised fleet of vehicles dedicated to the Chemical Industry.
They pride themselves on their fantastic service from both the staff at the head office and the drivers on the road. The premises are equipped with the latest in security, maintenance and tracking technology to keep the business running smoothly and providing a fantastic experience for all of their clients.
We were approached by one of the directors, Mr Denny, to update their website. He recognised that it was dated and tired, and needed something more vibrant to reflect the progressive nature of the business. The content was to remain generally the same, but this was more about the effect of the site and the first impression it would make upon existing and potential clients.
We firstly agreed that a main aspect of the new website would be photography. Therefore, we hired a freelance photographer to carry out a stunning photo shoot of the premises and vehicles. The staff at Lynch’s were more than impressed at the vibrant colours and quirky angles which were sure to make a big impression. We then set about designing a functional and good-looking website to house this content. Using the colour schemes and graphic themes which company was using on their livery, we came up with a full website mockup which was quickly approved by the directors with minimal alterations. The designs were bold and edge, with a corporate and professional feel to reflect the professional service which customers would expect of the company. The site was built and ready to publish shortly after, with sliders and galleries to showcase the vehicles, a news page and contact form.
Mr Denny was delighted with the overall results of the work. He thought that the design and imagery was outstanding and was happy with the turnaround time of the project. We will continue to work with Lynch’s to develop the website further in future, updating it with news and updates.
